RentCafé released its February Rent Report for Oregon, finding that Portland rents increased 2.8% year over year but decreased by 0.3% since January. Nationally, rents are up 3.2% year over year. Albany saw the highest rent growth in the state over the past year at 6.9%, followed closely by Keizer (6.3%), Oregon City (6.1%), and Bend (5.9%). Lake Oswego was the only Oregon city where rents declined year over year - the Clackamas County city saw rents decrease by just 0.1%, but rents there remain the highest statewide, averaging $1,588 per month.
