The Portland Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America donated more than $3,000 to Tenants Organizing Displacement in their bid to gather enough signatures to send voters a ballot measure in November calling for approval of a capital gains tax to raise $12-$15 million a year for attorneys to represent renters facing eviction.
