Update: Portland and Seattle Metro Area Rent Growth Forecasts

Yardi Matrix reports the following:

January 2020 year-over-year rent growth

• Seattle 3.5%
• Portland - 3.8%

The Pacific Northwest outperformed the national average rent growth of 3%.

2020 Yardi rent growth forecast:

• Seattle - 5.8% 
• Portland - 5.2%  

Occupancy rates December, 2019: 

• Seattle - 95.3%
• Portland - 95.2%
