The U.S. Census Bureau, a division of the Department of Commerce, has reported that the Portland/Bellevue/Vancouver area had the nation's lowest multifamily vacancy rate as of June 30, 2009. The Seattle area's vacancy rate was pegged at 8.6%.View the Census Bureau's complete report here.
