Portland Moves Up to #3 Spot on PwC US and Urban Land Institute Emerging Trends in Real Estate Report

The Portland Business Journal reports that after first making the top 10 list last year, Portland has risen to third place, after Austin (#1) and Dallas/Fort Worth (#2). According to the report, "niche neighborhoods" and "economic diversity" contributed to Portland's rise.  This is the 38th year PwC US and ULI have produced the Emerging Trends report, and the ranking is based on a survey of 2,000 investors, fund managers, developers, brokers, and lenders.
